Enter Angola via Ruacana Border post head to Foz du Cunene via Iona Nat. Park |

Meet Group at Ruacana Border, we cross the border from Namibia into Angola where the guide will assist us with the border proceedings. We head off towards Foz du Cunene driving via Iona, Moimba and Espineira, camping each night in dry riverbeds. Here we will experience different off-road conditions, the roads are dirt tracks so that conditions vary with the seasons. We have a day in hand in case of too much dawdling along the way. So it is possible that the dates as indicated above may change.

Foz du Cunene to Flamingo Lodge Via Baia dos Tigres |

Here there is so much to do and look forward to. There is parasailing, fishing, quadbiking and some training in driving thick sand. We will also visit the magnificent fossil filled canyons which dominate this area. We stay in grass cottages which are all en suite.

Pediva |

A beautiful drive through ever changing vistas, we depart Flamingo early and head for Pediva. We camp at the edge of the hot water springs and bask until late.

Pediva - Ferado |

We will leave Pediva early in the morning heading north via caraculo. The first part of the journey will be on back roads and trails before joining the tar road at Caraculo. We will have a rest day on Ferado beach to enjoy the beautifull scenery.

Drive to Lubango |

Early this morning we head for Lubango where we will spend the day. Having watched the sunset over the magnificent Tundavalle valley, we’ll overnight in comfortable brick cottages.

Drive to Caluek Border Post |

We will depart Lubango early this morning heading south on the national road. We will spend one night camping en-route to the border. This drive takes us past the Naulilo Lake and large stretches of the Cunene River.
